Epic adventure based on Catherine Marshall's novel, following the life of Christy, a young missionary who endeavours to bring change to a backward and resistant community. Christy arrives at Cutter Gap, Tennessee, in 1912 intent on improving the situation of the isolated and traditional town and its dwellers.
