Starry remake of E.B. White's classic tale. Fern is a farmer's daughter who is determined to save runt piglet Wilbur from her father's axe. Her uncle agrees to house him in his barn but she doesn't realise he's being kept just until Christmas. But Charlotte the spider realises the danger and, using her extensive vocabulary, hatches a plan to save Wilbur's skin.
