Casey is a streetwise teenager chosen by con man Harry Bundage to pose as the long-lost granddaughter of Lady Gwendolyn St Edmund. She runs a hostel for abandoned children at her English estate, Candleshoe, but despite joint best efforts with her multi-tasking butler Priory, finances are tight. What would help is the pirate's treasure hidden somewhere in the estate, which Casey has been sent to find, but as she follows the clues to its whereabouts, will her loyalties lie with Bundage or her new-found family?
