The sequel the to smash comedy Bridget Jones, based on the books by Helen Fielding. After her efforts in the first film to win over handsome barrister Mark Darcy (Colin Firth), we return to the hapless life of Bridget Jones as she starts to get itchy feet about their relationship.
Although Bridget (Renne Zellweger) is still very much in love with Darcy, she becomes convinced there is something going on between him and his beautiful co-worker Rebbecca (Jacinda Barrett). Being the Bridget Jones we all love, she also manages to embarress herself a few times in front of his colleagues!
To add further complication to her life, Daniel Clever (Hugh Grant) is back on the scene, waiting to start their 'relationship' where they last left it before Darcy got involved. Daniel and Bridget are asked to go to Thailand to film for a TV shoot but things don't quite go to plan and Bridget ends up in a Thai women's prison. Can Darcy save her?
Except more hilarious scenes, a street fight, magic mushrooms, a musical rendition of Madonna's 'Like a Virgin', and more!
