Heartwarming tale of friendship and self-discovery in which three middle-aged women embark on a road trip across the USA. After the sudden death of her husband, a woman from Idaho must carry the dead man's ashes to California in accordance with the wishes of her strong-willed step-daughter. However, the woman will not be travelling alone, as her two best friends agree to join her on the trip for moral support.
