This movie begins with a searing rap on the world of used car sales by the two leads and business partners Sid French (Joe Carnahan) and Bob Melba (Dan Leis).
The boys are going nowhere in a hurry. With their dealership located next to Woo's, the biggest used car lot in town owned by the formidable Danny Woo (Dan Harlan), these lads have to sweat for every cent they earn.
With eviction and bankruptcy staring them straight in the eye, Sid and Bob have an opportunity to make an easy $250,000 simply by storing a 1963 convertible Pontiac LeMans on their lot for a couple of days.
Although once they have the car they soon get the idea to hold it for ransom for twice what they where initially supposed to recieve for the favour.
Despite being made for less than $8,000, this stylish and energetic film is a fine example of an independent film that could, acing its far more lavish and costly competition.
