Young Sara takes Beethoven, her Saint Bernard, to stay with her weird Uncle Freddy for the summer holidays, and the dog digs up an old ten-dollar bill that turns out to be part of a lost fortune. Now the entire town wants a piece of Beethoven as everyone tries to get their hands on the loot.
