Comedy about a newly-married couple Paul and Corie Bratter. He's a straight-laced lawyer, but she's a free spirit. They set up home in a Greenwich Village brownstone peopled by eccentrics, where their conflicting personalities soon cause clashes. And when matters reach an emotional climax that threatens their relationship, advice from Corie's mother pours oil on the troubled waters of their marriage.
