Witty and heartwarming comedy about a sales girl who is mistaken for the unmarried mother of an abandoned baby she discovers on the steps of a foundling home. When the matron of the home traces her to the department store where she works, her fellow employees also assume the girl to have fallen into disrepute - including the owner and his playboy son, who has romantic designs on her.
