After a man dies in Guam from a mysterious syndrome caused by an unidentified insect bite on a nearby tiny island, an expedition team heads for the jungle to investigate. It comprises medical and zoological scientists as well as security plus their female pilot. They soon discover its not an insect but a huge spider-like mutated monster that kills people by bite or poison.
