Doc's demanding workday is even busier as he initiates a rookie paramedic, Yvette (rapper Eve). The situation gets tense when Yvette's patient is transported from jail. Meanwhile, Sully and Davis are on patrol when a construction job becomes life threatening, and Carlos is stunned by what a detective from the sex crimes unit tells him.
