The fall of Singapore in February 1942 resulted in the single largest surrender of British-led military personnel in history, with an approximated 67,000 Britons among the 140,000 Allied prisoners captured during the conflict. Here, former PoWs Bob Morrell, Bill Frankland, William Mumby and Tony Lucas discuss their harrowing experiences, and their arduous journey back to the UK in the wake of V-J Day
