The Reunion: The Kennedy Assassination

In a special 100th edition of the programme recorded in Dallas, Texas, Sue MacGregor reunites five people involved in events surrounding the assassination of US president John F Kennedy in 1963. In attendance are Clint Hill, the Secret Service agent who climbed onto the back of the presidential limousine as the shots rang out, Gayle Newman, who stood in Dealey Plaza and was one of the closest eyewitnesses, Hugh Aynesworth, then of the Dallas Morning News, Kenneth Salyer, who was part of the medical team that tried to revive the president, and Jim Leavelle, a retired homicide detective, who was handcuffed to Lee Harvey Oswald when the assassin was shot down two days later
