The Musketeers: Keep Your Friends Close

The return of the swashbuckling adventure set in 17th-century Paris. While fans of Peter Capaldi may be disappointed that his time-travelling means he no longer appears as Cardinal Richelieu, he has an equally dastardly replacement in the shape of actor Marc Warren. The Musketeers are sent to rescue the Comte de Rochefort, the Cardinal's man in Madrid who has escaped from a Spanish prison. He brings news that the chief author of France's military strategy against Spain, General De Foix, has been captured, so the king's swordsmen join forces with Rochefort to rescue De Foix before critical information falls into the wrong hands. But it soon appears that Rochefort, like the Cardinal before him, may not be entirely trustworthy. Luke Pasqualino, Tom Burke, Howard Charles and Santiago Cabrera star as the sword-swinging quartet
