Cop Killer by Maj Sjowall and Per Wahloo, translated by Thomas Teal and dramatised by Jennifer Howarth. The murder of a woman in a small village outside Malmo attracts the attention of Beck when it becomes clear the victim was living next door to a man who had already killed once before.
