The Bible: Passion

Drama series. Mocked and beaten, Jesus carries his cross to Golgotha where he is crucified. Three days later however, Mary Magdalen finds an empty tomb. The resurrected Jesus bids a final farewell to his disciples and exhorts them to spread his word. Though they are persecuted, Christianity begins to spread. The violently anti-Christian Saul of Tarsus becomes one of the most ardent apostles after a miraculous roadside conversion. John survives an excruciating torture and is exiled to Patmos.
