The Bible: Passion (Part 5)

Drama series. Mocked and beaten, Jesus carries his cross to Golgotha where he is crucified. Three days later, Mary Magdalen finds an empty tomb. The resurrected Jesus bids a final farewell to his disciples and exhorts them to spread his word. Though they are persecuted, Christianity begins to spread. The violently anti-Christian Saul of Tarsus becomes one of the most ardent apostles after a miraculous roadside conversion. John survives excruciating torture and is exiled to Patmos.
