Part one of two. Nikki and Jack attend the scene of a fatal car crash in which a driver lost control of her vehicle and the forensic evidence suggests it may not have been an accident and that the victim's son Kevin McDowd - a resident of Kingscote Bows care home - could be involved in the death. The teams begin to notice a pattern of foul play and a connection between the care home and other suspicious deaths that had previously gone unnoticed, while Kevin absconds and takes his friend Serena with him
