Rebecca

The first of a two-part dramatisation of the Daphne du Maurier novel about a woman who marries a rich and handsome man and is subsequently terrorised by Mrs Danvers, a housekeeper obsessed with the memory of his dead first wife Rebecca. The new bride tries to escape the shadow of the deceased woman and begins to unravel the story of her death, but it seems the staff, Rebecca's cousin and even her own husband are all keeping secrets.
