Providence: The Gun

Melina Kanakaredes (NYPD Blue) and Mike Farrell (M*A*S*H) star in this fresh and inspiring family drama. Dr Sydney Hansen is a young, go-getting Beverly Hills plastic surgeon - who abandons her high-flying career doing celebrity tummy tucks, and moves back to her hectic family home in Providence, Rhode Island. Just as Sydney begins to settle into the turbulent Hansen household, she finds that her recently departed, chain-smoking mother often interrupts her dreams to offer her take on the daily familial concerns. In this episode, Syd believes her paper boy when he tells her that his shot wound was self-inflicted, what she doesn't realise though is that he is hiding a gun in his box of toys at the Hansen house.
