A childhood friend of Gibbs' dead daughter is stalked by a marine who recently returned from Iraq, and asks the agent for help. Memories of his murdered family lead him to make the case a priority, but he acts on his initiative and leaves HQ without his badge, making DiNozzo fear he is risking his job for a personal vendetta.
