Lachlan Colston, a lieutenant in the Royal Australian Navy, is murdered on US soil, prompting Special Investigator Naomi Parsons to travel to New Orleans from Australia to investigate. Evidence mounts suggesting that Colston's death was a hired hit, but when the team moves in to apprehend the assassin, Parsons' rash actions jeopardise the arrest.
