A US Navy lieutenant dies from arsenic poisoning while secretly visiting an Army general's hotel room. When an old friend asks Pride to keep the subsequent investigation under wraps, it becomes clear the woman may have been killed to cover up an affair that could jeopardise a war hero's chances of securing a position with Homeland Security.
