The group fractures further when Shannon suffers an asthma attack. Boone believes Sawyer is withholding her spare inhalers and a violent confrontation ensues. When Jack learns of Sawyer's selfishness, he too confronts him, but gets a similar reaction. Later, Sayid takes matters into his own hands, attempting to torture Sawyer into confessing to where the inhalers are kept. But he insists he doesn't have them. Meanwhile, Sun tries to help Shannon with a natural remedy for her asthma, and Charlie tries to lure Claire to the caves with peanut butter.
