The officers are called in to investigate when a successful newspaper columnist falls six storeys to her death, dressed only in her underwear. It soon emerges her psychiatrist had visited the apartment that day for dinner, but he seems reluctant to tell the police what went on, making them believe he could be hiding vital clues.
