Hannay: Act of Riot

Richard Hannay gets caught up in local events when he returns to his childhood village to stay with a boyhood friend. The pair come under attack when local farmers with grievances against a mining company discover that he is a mining engineer and feelings boils over. When Hannay witnesses a further crime, he is required to prolong his stay in the village to attend a hearing, but his growing attraction to his friend proves problematic.
