Don Quixote

Jason Watkins and Mackenzie Crook star in part one of Ernesto Caballero's two-part adaptation of Cervantes' classic story. Knight errant Don Quixote de la Mancha has resolved to restore honour and chivalry to a world that has lost its values. He recruits to his cause a loyal squire, Sancho Panza, and saddles up his mighty steed - all in the name of the fair maiden Dulcinea, the object of his courtly love. Except nothing is quite as it would seem. Adapted for radio by Spanish playwright Ernesto Caballero and translated by David Johnston and Nicolas Jackson.
