Columbo: A Deadly State of Mind

A philandering psychiatrist, who involved his mistress in a series of hypnosis experiments, kills her husband in the heat of the moment when the pair are caught out. He persuades his distraught lover to make up a story involving two burglars, but Lt Columbo realises she is lying and goes in search of the truth.
