Nick and Morgan witness a speeding car plough into a parked truck, and find the driver has been shot. The investigators discover the case could be linked to another shooting, but have trouble figuring out what happened beforehand - so DB calls on a former colleague, blood-spatter expert Julie Finlay, for assistance. However, she is far from impressed with the team's work and has no qualms letting them know about it. Elisabeth Shue (Leaving Las Vegas) joins the cast
