Broadchurch: Series 1, Episode 1

The community of Broadchurch is rocked by the death of 11-year-old Danny Latimer, whose body is found on a beach. The Latimers are unable to cope with their loss and the sudden media attention. DS Ellie Miller, a friend of the family, struggles to deal with the disappointment of losing out on promotion and an associated resentment of DI Alec Hardy, recently transferred to Wessex Police.
