Assume Nothing: The Silver Sisterhood

A programme focusing on 1984, when St Brides School for young ladies opened its doors in the quiet fishing village of Burtonport, Co Donegal. The mistresses and `girls" were The Silver Sisterhood, a deeply religious group of women who worship a feminine God. They wore Victorian clothing, rejected modernity and lived by candlelight. Mysteriously, they also began to release a series of strange computer games apparently based on their unique school and unusual beliefs. Produced and presented by Conor McKay
