Judge Kenneth Starr assigns his lead prosecutor, Mike Emmick, to persuade Monica to aid their case. In the room at the hotel near where she was picked up, Emmick tells her she faces various felony charges, including lying under oath about signing the affidavit denying a sexual relationship with President Clinton.
