TagsAlias (2001)Sydney Bristow is a college graduate student by day, CIA agent by night. But not just any CIA agent - she's an agent for SD-6, a top-secret division of the CIA - or so she thinks. Shy and lonely and eager to be a part of something bigger, Sydney was recruited freshman year and loved every minute of her job. Today, Sydney still works for SD-6, but she is no longer shy or alone - her boyfriend, Danny, has just proposed, and her best friend, Francie, couldn't be happier. Will, her friend, has to fake happiness while keeping his unrequited love for her to himself. So now, Sydney's got a problem. She has to decide what she wants from the rest of her life and what she's gonna tell Danny. Sydney's SD-6 partner, Dixon, advises her not to disclose her secret, and Sydney knows that SD-6 leader Sloane would be upset at any security breech. Even Marshall, SD-6's super intelligent weapon inventor and gadget maker, knows that spilling their identities is strictly forbidden. This is, after all, the one rule you don't break. But, Sydney breaks the rule anyway, and suddenly her life is thrown upside-down: Danny is murdered, and Sydney is in a fight for her own life. She learns that her long-estranged father, Jack, is also SD-6 and that the organization is covering up a heinous plan - they are, in fact, not a branch of the CIA. They are an enemy of the United States. With no where else to run to, Sydney seeks out the help of the real CIA in hopes of putting SD-6 out of business. She is put under the command of operations officer, Vaughn, who enlists Sydney to become a double agent. Sydney's mission is to complete her cases at SD-6 while reporting her findings back to the CIA. But when Sydney finds out that her father is also affiliated with the CIA, she begins to question where his true loyalties really lie. Genre: DramaProduction Year: 2001Rating: |
