Jack, unaware his daughter has been rescued, races to save her only to find himself in a trap after Nina calls him with some bad news. Meanwhile, things turn nasty at CTU as Teri unwittingly puts her own life in danger. Senator Palmer and Sherry face off after yet another of Sherry's schemes is found out, but this time the Senator is determined to have the last word in the matter. And things go from bad to worse for the Bauer family as their day draws to a shattering end.
