When York convent's school went comprehensive in the mid-80's, the nuns had to search for a new ways to make ends meet, and with the help of John Paul Getty and a business manager, they now have a thriving business: Bar Convent Enterprises, with a cafe, a museum, a B&B and conference facilities.

With unique access to convent life, this film sees the sisters as they work, pray and relax, discovering some of their innermost secrets.
