Tonight: Fit for Practice?

This week, more than 27 million people - almost half of the population - will have to wait more than seven days to see their GP. The Royal College of General Practitioners says that the number of consultations has gone up by 40 million in five years and will continue to grow. They claim budget cuts, long hours and recruitment problems have left the system in crisis. The government says that money spent on doctors has increased and patients should not be struggling to get appointments. Fiona Foster reports.
