The Science of Crime

In "Psycopath" the programme investigates the mind of the psychopath debunks the Hollywood portrayal of the psychopath as a serial killer.

While most serial killers are psychopaths, most psychopaths are not serial killers, and in Britain they make up 1 in 200 of the population, and commit 50% of all reported crime.

This programme asks, how well this condition is understood, and what hope there is for a future cure.

In "Criminal Evidence" the series continues with a look at author Kathy Reichs - whom is also a top forensic anthropologist - as she sets out to crack a number of high profile murder cases using cutting-edge state-of-the-art techniques.

In "CyberCops" the series concludes with an exploration of the role of cybercops. These are NOT half human/half robot creatures you see in science fiction stories, but law enforcers hired by major corporations all over the world to hunt down computer hackers and fraudsters.
