The Museums That Make Us

Neil MacGregor travels to the western tip of Cornwall to discover why the Museum of Global communications in Porthcurno is far more than just a local curiosity telling the story of a colourful past. He learns about deep sea cabling and a hidden network that helped forge the modern world of mass communication, and which is best understood in the form of a cable hut where cables from across the British Empire once came ashore.
