From the Castle of Otranto to the first lesbian vampire, novelist Sarah Waters traces the queer roots of gothic literature and architecture in the 18th and early-19th centuries. Sarah is joined by Dale Townshend, Professor of Gothic Literature at the Manchester Centre for Gothic Studies, and writer Holly James Johnston, who created the LGBTQ+ Strawberry Hill House tour project.
