By Eoin O'Callaghan. When police drag a woman from a burning car on the M2, they are surprised that she has no ID and cannot recall anything about her past or why she is in Northern Ireland. A psychiatric assessment is inconclusive; she has had a complete memory loss possibly due to an unspecified trauma, but with no obvious head injury. All they can hope is that time will prompt a recovery. A PSNI Detective Sergeant, Lucy Canavan, is tasked with her immediate welfare and discovering who this woman is.
