Michael Berkeley is joined by Chris Beardshaw, a garden and landscape designer who has won 15 gold medals from the Royal Horticultural Society, and has enjoyed great success at the Chelsea Flower Show. He was first given some seeds at the age of four, and under the eye of his grandmother soon became fascinated by growing things. He has written several books, including 100 Plants That Almost Changed the World, and has shared his knowledge as a regular panellist on Radio 4's Gardener's Question Time for more than 25 years. He talks about his life and career and chooses music by Rodrigo, Max Richter, Karl Jenkins and Elgar.
