Edwardian Farm

It is July and Alex Langlands, Peter Ginn and Ruth Goodman face their busiest period of the year as harvest arrives. The team brings in the cherries with the help of the Dartmoor pony, Ruth tries her hand at salmon netting, and Alex and Peter struggle to save their potato crop from being wiped out by plant disease. There is also time to relax after all the hard work with a day out at the seaside, featuring musical entertainment, new-fangled swimming costumes and a Punch and Judy show.
