Doctors and Nurses at War: The Front Line

Series following volunteer doctors and nurses from the NHS and full-time army surgeons in a front-line hospital in Afghanistan. The Geneva Convention states that everyone needing help in the war zone must be treated, yet British medics could come face to face with suspected Taliban knowing that they could be potential targets. At the sharp end is consultant Dr Pete Davies from Glasgow who is called out to treat a wounded Afghan suspected of being a Taliban rebel.
