Alan Hall and his siblings try to trace their grandmother's brothers in the aftermath of their mother's death, with photographs of two men in military uniforms the first clue. Grandmother Hettie was the youngest of nine and the only daughter. While three of her brothers died in the First World War, the others remain unaccounted for.
