Documentary about legendary country music singer-songwriter Hank Williams. With his seductive musings on love and ruin, Williams embodied the Honky Tonk ethos, blazing out of Alabama in the late 1940s with go-for-broke fervour, and by the age of twenty-five was country music's first superstar. In 1953, overtaken by his own heart and after a lifetime of pills and booze, he was dead. Features interviews with friends and family.
