A Life on Screen

From his early days in comedy troupe The Jockeys of Norfolk, to his breakthrough role as Charles in Four Weddings and a Funeral, Hugh Grant has become one of Britain's best-loved stars, with hits including two Bridget Jones movies, Notting Hill, Love Actually, and Paddington 2. More recently, he has turned his talents to television in the acclaimed drama A Very English Scandal, playing notorious politician Jeremy Thorpe. Aside from the Bafta-winning actor discussing his career, friends and colleagues including Andie MacDowell, Richard Curtis, Sandra Bullock, Colin Firth, Ang Lee, Stephen Frears and Nicholas Hoult also add their thoughts.
