A House Through Time

At the start of the 20th century, the new residents of Calton Hill find themselves wrapped up in bigamy and brutality. Featured are the Marshalls, a family of five occupying just two rooms and sharing the floor and toilet with another family, the Ross family, including head prison warder James, who is brutally attacked by an inmate, and Annie Anthony and her son John, a professional soldier who fought a very different sort of war.
