The Scottish chefs are at the halfway point of their heat, serving up their mains and desserts celebrating children's literature. One of the contestants attempts an ambitious nose-to-tail rabbit dish as a homage to Toad's feasting in The Wind in the Willows, while another takes inspiration from Dundee's comic hero Desperate Dan and tries to replicate the cowboy's famous cow pie using Scottish beef fillet, beef cheeks, bone marrow rissole and puff pastry.
