It's the last night in Birmingham, and sporty sophisticate Suzie Allen thinks she's got what it takes to win. But none of her guests think that she's up to it, so she's got her work cut out to prove them all wrong. Everything seems to be going well in the kitchen, but when her guests arrive, Suzie realises she might have miscalculated in one vital area: her guests are all partial to a drink but Suzie doesn't have any vodka, and possibly not enough wine. The lack of booze doesn't go down well with the guests, and they are quick to say so. And it's not long before they're also complaining about her cooking skills. Suzie's last hope is her clotted crème brûlée. She had problems getting the quantities of ingredients right earlier on, but it's been setting in the fridge all day. Has it set in time and put her on course for a sweet end to the evening, or has her lack of booze sunk her hopes of claiming that £1,000 prize?
