Come Dine with Me: Couples

Fifty-somethings Lesley and Roger kick off the competition in Leicester with an international themed menu inspired by their love of luxury cruises. Roger has spent a fortune on steaks but doesn't manage to cook them to the liking of everyone. Day two sees young music teachers Emma and Chris host. They are anxious to prove that their food will be fine dining rather than the student fayre anticipated by their guests. What really impresses, however, is a moving musical performance that reduces Lesley to tears. Finally it's the turn of teacher Bonita and ex-soldier Tony to host. They attempt to show that despite their combative exterior they can work in harmony to put on a good night. But will their effort to win the grand be de-railed by Bonita's outspoken comments and Tony's love of army style 'banter'?
